ERS Pool Renovations CC was founded in May 1988 by Marthinus Oosthuysen & a friend in Gauteng.
They were trained on-site by an industrial chemist over a period of ±12 months on how to weigh, mix & apply epoxy-resin. Marthinus bought out his friend & went solo after ± a year on and moved to Nelspruit.
In short space of time Marthinus was also trained how to prepare for & apply the NCS™ Resins fibreglass pool lining system to industry standard. He was taught the most important aspect of a swimming pool’s renovation / re-furbishment to be surface preparation.
Interesting Fact:
Over a period of about 10 years ERS has renovated a total of 17 swimming pools of the Sun International Hotel group.

Why we focus on surface preparation
If not done correctly the application to your pool will simply not last because the new application will not adhere (stick) to even the slightest surface contamination, oily residue such as suntan lotion, body oils, hair spray, algae or anything that comes between the pool surface and the new application
